neue reifen ?

hallo zusammen,

vorab erst mal ein verspätetes, gutes, erfolgreiches und vor allen gesundes jahr 2018 an alle hier im forum. ich hätte da mal kurz eine frage; brauche im frühjahr neue reifen für meinen e-tye. hatte beim letzten mal ein vermögen für die avon v-reifen bezahlt. da ich niemals in den geschwindigkeitsbereich von v-reifen komme, würden mir h-reifen locker reichen. wäre sowas möglich? so wie mit den winterreifen und dem 210 km/h aufkleber am tacho.

Hallo Hans Peter,

Dir auch ein gesundes Neues   Ich habe mich für den Vredestein Sprint Classic entschieden. Auch nicht billig aber mit W-Freigabe.
Ich habe aber auf meinem Coupe`damals auch Reifen mit H-Index gefahren. Den Aufkleber hatte ich im Handschuhfach.
Die Reifen 205/70 H15 gibt es günstig im Transporterbereich. Manchen ist das Profil zu klobig aber ich habe das nicht so gesehen.

it is worth mentioning that when Jaguar did all the testing with Norman Dewis for the XJ6 and moved on to fitting 205/70VR15 tyres, they also did the testing for the mk 6 cylinder E-type and stuck with 185VR15 tyres. I have spoke to Norman Dewis about this in person, and he said it handled better on 185VR15. they loved the Pirelli Cinturato in testing, but stuck with Dunl;op because of its locality and price and Dunlops relationship with jaguar.

they didn't fit 205/70VR15 on the E-type untill they fitted the power steering and the V12 engine. It was not just the weight of the steering that was the problem it was the handling too.

Also fitting proper branded tyres like the Pirelli Cinturato and Michelin XVS also look so much better than modern tyres like the Vredestein as well as handling better.
