ein Zitat aus dem obigen britischen XF-Forum zum Kofferraumdeckel-Problem :
"The problem is when the rear facia is fitted to the car, it has a sharp edge
that can damage the paint work.
Jaguar had the boot lid stripped down & resprayed. They added spacers to
the facia to avoid any further paint damage."

"Das Problem ist, dass wenn die hintere, chromfarbene Blende am Auto
befestigt wird, sie eine scharfe Kante hat, die den Lack beschaedigen kann.
Jaguar hat den Kofferraumdeckel abgebaut und neu gespritzt. Man hat Ab-
standshalter unter der Blende befestigt um weitere Lackschaeden zu zu ver-
meiden."
Wenn ich mir den Thread genauer ansehe, ist das gemeint, was man spaeter
immer nach dem Lackieren vor der Blendenmontage unter die Chromblende packte:
Eine Kunststofffolie, die die Beruehrung der Blende mit der Lackierung verhindert.

Mein bisher einwandfreier XF S war ein MY2010 und wurde im Oktober 2009 zuge-
lassen.
Soweit ich feststellen konnte, trat dieser Fehler bei den XFs der Produktion nach den
Werksferien Sommer 2009 nicht mehr auf.
